This viral breakfast trend puts a new, fluffy spin on a classic breakfast staple

Step 1

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a clean mixing bowl, with an electric beater, whip egg whites into stiff peaks

Step 2

Fold in salt and pepper, as well as any additional toppings (bacon, veggies, herbs, cheese, etc.)

Step 3

Scoop 1/4 of the egg white mixture onto a baking sheet with parchment paper, pressing down a circle in the middle where the yolk will be placed. Bake for 5-7 minutes until they start to turn golden brown on the tops

Step 4

Remove from oven and place yolks into the center of each "cloud," bake for another 3 minutes, then remove from oven and serve immediately


Prep time: 5 minutes               Bake time: 10 minutes              Total time: 15 minutes

  • 4 egg whites
  • 4 egg yolks
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning
  • 1/4 cup meat, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped herbs (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons finely grated cheese (optional)
