Makes: 36 truffles                  Prep time: 2 hours

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package double stuffed Oreos
  • 1 8oz package of cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz chocolate chips

Step 1: Add the Oreos to a food processor and crush the Oreos.

Step 2: Add cream cheese and blend until a soft dough forms.

Step 3: Form truffles into small balls, about 3/4 inch in diameter and place on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Let freeze for one hour.

Step 4: Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips until smooth. Remove the truffles from the freezer a few at a time so they don't get soft and one by one, coat them in chocolate and place onto another wax paper lined baking sheet. Put back in the freezer for 45 minutes.
